A single Wheatear and an increase in Whitethroat were the only obvious signs of passerine migration today. Elsewhere 11 Pale-bellied Brent Geese and 12 Whimbrel were in the estuary, eight Sanderling were on the beach and 17 Sandwich Tern were offshore.
